Let me count how many times have I missed my family reunion dinner on cny.

2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010!

8 times.

wow. 8 years gone by really quickly.

But the image of cny in my maternal grandma's house at the country site is still vivid on my mind.

I remmeber playing with the 'fairywand', watching the red and hot trail left behind by the sparks . The sparkles in the children's eyes.
I remember hiding in the house after the release of the 'butterfly fireworks', feeling thrilled but anxious too.
We all loved to watch the green butterfly buzz around.

I'm not sure if they still do it during cny in that old house.
Perhaps those things are already outdated,
perhaps there are cooler stuffs around now.
(Or kids no longer get fascinated by those simple little magic)

CNY here.

I spent it in wenyun's place last year.
Cool stayover experience.
Oh and I still remember her cool relative who keeps exoctic pets, like hedgehog and lizard. xD

This year, it's JC's family that i crashed into.
and somehow became the 'fake young' sister.

I felt pretty awkward at the start.
(amel said that it sounded like some meet-the-parent session)
But his parents are really nice and friendly people,
it felt as though I'm actually back in Taiwan. (just that JC speaks english. xD)

Actually the whole experience felt more like a tour around S'pore instead of CNY.
(BUT, i've forgotten to bring camera for BOTH DAYS ARGH)
It's relaxing.
Walked around the city, then Macritchie reservoir (<333 nature), and caught a cool movie (but wu zun is really.........>< I just can't help but laugh whenever he appears on screen)

And we couldn't stop smiling even after we left.

I feel thankful.
